About Us Aruna is a collective of dedicated service providers, each contributing her own special talents. Below is a list of our featured providers and is by no means a complete list of practitioners. Dawn Rothwell Dawn (Aruna) Rothwell is the founder of Aruna. She holds a BA, Magna Cum Laude, in English Literature, and has completed graduate and post graduate studies in Natural Health, Holistic Therapies, and Metaphysics. Dawn is trained in several traditional and Western Reiki traditions, and holds certification in Yoga, Parapsychology, Naturopathy, and Hypnotherapy. She is an ordained minister and a Licensed Spiritual Health Coach. A renowned Tarot consultant, she is recognized by the Tarot Certification Board of America as a Certified Tarot Master Instructor, an honor bestowed to only a handful of individuals worldwide. She is also the author of the highly acclaimed book, Insight Tarot. She is also the President and founder of Reiki Rays Institute, an AADP accredited educational facility for holistic and spiritual studies. Dawn is a second generation disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi. She received the name Aruna by Swami Kriyananda after her Kriya Yoga initiation. In her free time, she enjoys Vegan cooking, being in nature, playtime with her 10 cats, and regularly attends Unity Church of Lawrence.
Carol Ann Brown Carol Ann is the director of our Topeka center and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Aruna. She provides medical intuitive and past life readings online and via telephone, in addition to ministerial counseling and clergy services. She specializes in facilitating workshops in Power of Mind, Developing Intuition, The Consciousness of Food, and the Power of Breath amongst others. Jo-An Pruyn Jo-An is a Master Intuitive with over thirty years experience in metaphysical practices. She has studied extensively with the A.R.E Institute in Virginia Beach, and is a volunteer with their Battered Boundaries program. Her services with Aruna include I-Ching consultations and Spiritual Counseling by appointment.
Cynthia Walker Cynthia is a nationally certified massage therapist offering Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, and Chair Massage by appointment.
